David HIll
Hi. My name is David, though many people call me Dewi. Formerly studying for a Ph.D. student at Cardiff University (specialising in Welsh and Second Language Acquisition), I have now embarked on retraining for a career in Speech and Language Pathology. However, prior to deciding on getting an education, I worked in social care for several years and even undertook a brief stint as an English teacher in China.
My interests are many and varied, though perhaps the things I most frequently do are tap dancing, cycling, crochet, reading, writing (both fiction and non-fiction) and martial arts, though my wife is starting to get a little impatient with the latter- I'm always bruised and battered!
In the future, I am seeking to move into writing as a full-time career; I think with the experience I'll gain writing for Suite101.com and the research skills I've acquired through my education, I'll be perfectly suited to a life working with and reporting on information!
I am available for writing work (freelance or otherwise); just drop me a message.
